Just a Dream

Tyler awoke with a gasp.  He was covered in beads of sweat, his raven hair sticking to his skin.  He held his aching head, his chest heaving.  He felt like he couldn't breathe.  "He....help....." he managed to say, and seconds later someone was rushing into the room.
       "What happened!?  Did someone break in?  Are you hurt?" who he now recognized as Edward Grimm was examining his body, looking for some sign of injury, possesively holding Tyler's hand all the while.  Somehow, it made the boy feel better, and he felt a sigh escape his lips.  Ed stopped, and looked into Tyler's eyes expectantly.  "I'm fine, Ed...I just feel like I had a really long, scary dream but I don't remember what it was..." he finally said.
       The blonde let out the breath he was holding and his shoulders slouched.  He looked to Tyler with a somewhat awkward, understanding smile, and slowly reached his arms out as if he wasn't quite sure of what he was doing, but eventually managed to hold the raven haired boy in a comforting embrace.  "It's all gonna be fine, eh?  I'm not gonna let anything happen to you, Tylo..." to comfirm what he said, he lifted his head from Tyler's shoulder and pecked him on the lips several times, making Tyler giggle.
       Ed spent a few moments just smiling at Tyler before releasing the young adult, beginning to get off the bed, but something gripped his arm, stopping him.  "W-wait...  Can you...stay?  I don't think I'd be able to sleep otherwise..." Tyler whispered, and Ed laughed.  "Sure, of course."
       The blonde curled up next to Tyler, and wrapped his arms around the other, comfortingly rubbing circles in the boy's back with one hand.  With the other, he playfully grabbed at Tyler's ass.  The raven haired boy's face became as red as a tomato, and he batted at Ed's arm.  "D-don't do that!" he commanded, but he was smiling and laughing.  He knew the other was just trying to get his mind off the dream, like that was going to happen any time soon, but he could at least appreciate the effort.  He snuggled his head into Ed's chest, and closed his eyes.  He felt the blonde kiss his forehead one last time.  Soon, they both fell into a peaceful sleep.
