Somewhat away from the tracks, there stood what seemed to be an entire village.  The houses were made out of wood, but they didn't appear to be that stable.  If there was an earthquake, unlike the rest of the station, the whole thing would easily come done.
Despite that, they seemed rather cheerful, considering, the people walking in and out of the small connected houses.  Kanagi looked to Linder with glassy eyes, though the ginger had already started walking towards it, "Kiddo, I'm so sorry....I didn't know.."
"I don't want your sympathy.  Unlike certain people, you're actually able to do something about our situation.  And, you have the humanity to." he replied, walking to the biggest and most stable of the buildings, opening the door and walking inside.
The brunette hesitated, but followed him.  He saw several kids playing, and one of them noticed Linder and ran up to hug him.  The teenager huffed, but he was smiling softly.  Funny, Kanagi didn't think of Linder as someone who liked kids.  "Hey there, Jasper.  Um, can you tell me where Emma is?" right as he asked, a blonde walked out into the 'living room' they were standing in.
Her beautiful straight hair hair drooped down to her shoulder blades, and she was wearing a button up short sleeved navy blue shirt with poofy sleeves, a white tank over that, and a long yellow skirt with ruffles underneath that was pulled up over her stomach, white knee socks and mary janes.  Needless to say, she was the most nicely dressed person in the entire building.  "Linder, where have you been?  You know it's dangerous, you could be executed if you're found outside in the open during Solaris week!" she nearly yelled, with a hand on her hip.
The other hand would be on the other hip, probably, if she even had the other hand.  She was a beautiful girl, quite normal, the only off thing about her being...her lack of a right arm.  Linder got up off his knee, and smiled sweetly.  "Emma, I have good news, we have enough money to get you a prosthetic arm." he said cheerfully, almost like he was unaware the girl was angry at him.
Kanagi could have sworn if she was a cat, all of the fur on the back of her neck would've gone up, and her ears would be flat.  "You did WHAT!?" her voice was trembling, and she ran up and slapped him before saying, "You idiot!  You risked your life for something that could never replace what was lost!"
As she ran back to where she came from, probably to her room, the brunette saw Linder put a hand up to where Emma slapped him, a tear rolling down.  Everyone had seemed to go silent.  Surprisingly, after a few moments, the ginger walked over to the phone which looked like it was barely working, picking it up and dialing a number into it.  "Hello.  Yes, I would like to schedule to have my...sister to get a prosthetic arm.  Yes, thank you, I think that would be good." he said the person on the phone, then hung up.
Solemnly, the teen walked over to the dealer, telling him that he could stay the night in the last room to the right in the hall.  When Kanagi finally went to bed, after playing with Jasper until one of the adults kindly told him that it was 'past Jasper's bedtime', he found that it was a guest room, where a few other people were apparently sleeping.  He shrugged his shoes and trench coat off, falling onto the uncomfortable and hard bed that gave him little to no warmth.  He was too tired to care though, plus, he was used to it.
As he drifted off to dream land, Linder and Emma, happy in a nice home with some of the other residents in the makeshift village, joking around and in nice, new clothes, was the last image that came across his mind.
