Videth stared at the girl across from him.  The others had left hours ago, Matsu and Sadie being on a date(now that the ginger was older, who knows what else that meant), Mel was dealing with personal business, etc etc, leaving the foxy and Mari as the only ones left in the house.  They had tried to make small talk several times, but it always ended in awkward silence.  The air was so thick that he swore he could cut it with a knife.  Suddenly, he stood up.  "Um, I'm going to go to the store.  We're out of milk."
       Mari just stared at him.  Not wanting to be under the gaze of the brunette any longer, Videth started to walk away.  But something grabbed onto him, stopping him.  He looked back, seeing Mari gripping his arm.  "P-please, don't leave me alone..." she managed to sputter out.
       Videth paused for a few moments, before smiling and pulling the tall girl into a hug.  She slowly responded, hugging him back.  "I promise I won't leave.  I won't leave you alone."
